Can I freeze Spinach

I love spinach, but I'm the only one in the family that likes it. It doesn't have a very long shelf life, so I end up throwing loads out.

in 1961 the spinach trees on the moors outside Wigan froze for over 2 mths , however the harvest that summer was good.
