Discovered the MANFLU range in Boots and bought Daily Defence for my husband, who is apparently "dying".

The normal price is £7.99 but on offer for £5.99. 20 tablets in the packet so less than 30p a day. A good price for less moaning

Buy a brown plastic tablet bottle from a local chemist (cost: pennies or possibly even free)

Buy a box of TicTacs (cost: less than a quid)

Put TicTacs in bottle, give to "dying" hubby with strict instructions not to take more than 1 every 4 hours.

A much better price for less moaning!
