Engagement keepsake

My daughter and her partner of 6 yrs have just got engaged. I would like to buy them a keepsake for the occasion as a gift but not something from the local card shop. Any suggestions

My future MIL got us a personalised love spoon (Swansea market) with our names and engagement date on it.

My parents got us a decent boxed cutlery set.

Neighbours got us wine in a personalised (names and engagement date) wooden box.

All of these gifts were wonderful

When we moved in together my friend bought us a personalised chopping board. It's fantastic quality and really beautiful, I use it all the time.

It would be great as an engagement gift - you could put their names and a engagement date on it, or just happy engagement. My board is a round cheese board and came from here:-

When we got engaged different members of my family got us items of crockery from a set we loved, so we now have a lovely dinner service which will hopefully last us a long time to come. My Mum also got us personalised coasters which we lovely and a great keepsake as we still use them two years on.
