    And the OP is right the that the ToL website has nothing about how disabled people can get there using public transport (although it does have a lot about how to get around once you've arrived).

    I know Blackfriars Station has been rebuilt completely and has lifts from the platform level to road level

    its about a 15 minute walk from there or a short cab ride (theres a cab rank just a bit down Queen victoria street from Blackfriars tube)

    Indeed - thats why I asked about the start station as there are many ways to get around london using a mixture of transport providers including national rail services.

    Also, OP, for future journeys, if you use the TfL journey planner and click on the 'travel options & accessibility' linky under where you put in your starting point and destination you can select that you need step free access.

  • Can't help with the access but I was there last week and it gets very busy later on in the day so go early.


    The poppies are an amazing sight and very sobering when you remember what they represent.
