Ideas for stuffing chicken thighs

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone could share some ideas for stuffing chicken thighs with which can then be frozen. I'm not a fussy eater and will eat most things, the only thing I'm not keen on is fruit in savoury meals.

Thanks!

  • Thanks meritaten and psso. I was thinking along those lines but wasn't sure if I could then freeze the thighs. This may be a daft question but is there any kind of rule around what type of stuffing I can freeze and what's no good?

    Thanks

The ones I suggested all freeze with no problem, have black pudding and haggis in freezer right now. I've never actually frozen them wrapped in chicken but if I did, I'd make sure they were properly defrosted before cooking.
I usually take the chicken out to defrost, then stuff with whatever, wrap a rasher of bacon round and cook.

any of the stuffing ingredients we have suggested can be frozen - provided they haven't been previously cooked and frozen.
  • Thanks for all the replies, looks like a weekend of stuffing chicken thighs is on the cards!
