Woo hoo, that's fantastic!
And we've all been there with tights. I'm sure they somehow choose the most inopportune time to split deliberately!

Well today has been a good day, we have had confirmation everything is in place for the remortgage and it should complete on 30 September 2014. So here is to an end of credit card debts.
The only issue I have with this is that I don't know whether to cancel the mortgage direct debit now so it is cancelled as the next payment is due to go out on 1 October 2014 and I don't know if they will know and still take it!
The positives for today are
- DH has issued a lot of invoices c£2k which will be great when paid as that can go straight into the savings pot.
- I have downloaded a free app called WellSpent which enables you to keep track of different categories. I do track all our bank accounts on My Money but this is quite a nice tracker and I have set up budgets for
Groceries £350
Clothes £100
Petrol £100
Takeaways £50
Other bits £50
I think this suits me as I like tracking things. I have been doing WW since February and lost 2 and a half stone and the entering everything on the app has worked well so hopefully this will work.
In terms of clothes I am not planning on using anything on clothes until after Christmas - this is my first challenge of my debt free yellow brick road! Fingers crossed I can do it as this is my biggest downfall!
The Takeaways is to enable us to keep track of snacks we have such as McD's, sandwich van, Chinese/indian etc. Just so I can monitor how much we spend needlessly.
- Have decided to shop at Aldi tomorrow. DH bought a paper yesterday with a £5 voucher in so will use that voucher. Trying to guess how much I will spend!
Happy Friday everyone!:beer:0 -
As I'm going to an insanity and circuits class tomorrow I thought I would go shopping tonight. I went to aldi as planned for tomorrow and got food for the whole week and it came to a grand total of 57.73 after my vouchers! I was so so pleased. ☺️0

Its been a while but I thought I would post an update. The remortgage completed last week and I have cleared all the credit cards, the last being tonight. I am so pleased with our new approach to being credit card debt free.
I am recording every spend on my new app on my phone so I can see where we spend the money, even cash. It is really good and I feel a new focus on it all.
