Can I change my debt management company? My current company charges a fee and I can't see an end to the plan

Definitely! Give them the old heave ho and go with a free provider like Step Change or Pay Plan, or as the previous poster said you can do it all yourself if you want to.DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421

Not sure I can manage it myself with all the other bills, etc to pay. I still owe alot to the companies on my plan but the company are taking nearly half what I pay them - they are offering an IVA but heard lots of scary stories.0

If you do it yourself it wont cost you any more, that said i can fully understand it can be daunting, but as said above contact step change, and immediately leave the fee paying company0 -
