Mortgage PPI

I need a bit of help in regards to a mortgage PPI. I think that when we went through our mortgage in 2008, PPI was automatically added on by our mortgage adviser.
I am in a joint mortgage with 2 other people who equally own the house 3 ways. I am certain that PPI would not cover this situation, and I believe that we are still paying for the PPI
Does anyone know if I would be entitled to claim for the PPI back? As you imagine, in 7 years we would have a lot to claim back
Thanks in advance

Why not?Does anyone know if I would be entitled to claim for the PPI back?
You havent indicated any wrong doing apart from an opinion which is unlikely to be correct. (MPPI covers the individual holder and a joint named person on the policy if applicable. The lender or structure of the debt. i.e. 3 ways, is not an issue as long as you are not exceeding policy limits).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

There really is no point complaining based on assumptions, you need to research whether the policy was suitable for your circumstance. Only if it definitely wasn't suitable should you then make a complaint.0 -
I think PPI makes perfect sense in this situation. If one of you fell ill, you would have responsibility toward the other two.0
