Hi, not sure if this is a good deal or not. But i have just taken delivery of a 1st generation refurb Ipad (for teenage daughter) which i purchased from Groupon.
I was a bit worried as its a refurb but it is immaculate! i paid £138.00 for it and it comes with sealed chargers and a skin, both brand new.
Maybe this may help someone x

What size storage does it have as that will affect the price?
They are becoming fairly obsolete now. You won't be able to download a lot of the apps as they will require newer versions of iOS. The 1st gen will only go up to iOS 5.1.1 whereas version 8 has just been released.0 -
its 64mb, its my daughters first tablet so i thought it would be ok as a starter.0

It will be fine for email and web browsing. There are some apps that will work on it but some of those may run slower as they may not be optimised for the older iOS versions. She may find that a lot of apps won't download at all as they will only work on newer iOS.its 64mb, its my daughters first tablet so i thought it would be ok as a starter.0 -

Thats even better0 -
I'm sure she'll love it
It will be perfect for the basic web surfing and emails, which is what I use mine for most of all. I still have a 1st gen one, and I've not really had any issues at all. I think £138 including charger / skin is pretty good value
