For those still waiting for the £5 Amazon credit from the Charles Tyrwhitt offer, I received an email this afternoon with the gift certificate code.

Thanks for the reminder - just checked and mine arrived too.

You are posting earlier and earlier  :p had to go back ages to find your post.

Interesting point about you and your sis. I have often wondered what things would have been like if Id had siblings? I think I'd be very grateful for it now :( then again I sort of liked having my Dad to myself too. Swings and roundabouts I guess?

I am reading your last paragraph with interest and thinking that if your Dad feels he needs it, then he does and he should have it. He is probably very frightened, practicalities aside, and if that's what he wants to lean on...........?

My thoughts and much love are with you as ever :heart2:

Trying hard to get my body clock reset for winter.
Plus I usually do not get an update from sis until later in the evening.

Another thing is the nights are drawing in so going up to bed earlier and I rarely post until on tablet in the evening.

Yes I totally agree, Dad is old school and if you are unwell then you need a nurse. Fingers crossed as it is truly a lovely home. A stately home in large grounds. We will be able to join dad for meals if we wish plus rooms are a lot larger so can have a few home comforts with him.

Sorry to hear ds2 had a bit of an unsettled day but I suppose these blips happen especially when teaching continuity is not alway guaranteed. Sure you enjoyed a bit of alone time with him after your hectic weekend.

    Hugs back at ya.

CoS and CS updated - Mrs Anon again gets the repeat T offer £10 back on £40 or £50 spend, I meanwhile get nothing again.

As this has happened for three weeks on the trot I could take this personally!

PS also now only 25p on Lattice :(

    2 x KP Hula Hoops - Meaty Variety (7x25g) £3.50 £2.00

Oh,:mad::mad:! All my Variety say 7x24g on the packs - I knew I'd get diddled (twice over) by a reduced packs size:(.

I misunderstood totally what you were saying, you and TM seemed to be saying that it was a different one than that and yet had the Meaty Variety on your comparison?!? Please can you be 100% totally clear and explicit:eek: next time - I need it to be idiot's guide (even though I am not one).

I thought you were on about a different flavour than Meaty Variety completely and yet it seemed to work!

Thank you TM for the Turkey Steaks. I was in fact going to buy some turkey steaks soon, except that prices everywhere seemed so high. But, in the end, having managed with other meat, at some point we have to have some variety. It was a bit of a 'disappointment' (but not in any severe physical sense) that the Turkey Steaks pack turned out to be a small pack - I was expecting something a bit more - at least three steaks, but no! Still, we'll enjoy them for our tea next time, so thanks for letting me know about them!:T:T

After A S/P Turkey Breast Pieces disappeared off msm and stopped comparing, and then M Savers price went up and up:(, I've needed to find some since. I don't know if this is comparing to M own brand cooked meats (chicken etc.) at £1.69. That does seem to be the price on the cooked meats rather than the Butch. Sel equivalent stuff. Or perhaps there are some at £1.69 in front of my eyes. Sometimes I need things pointing out to me and shoving right in front of my face!

I got just one pack though - I didn't want £1.69 or any 2 for £7.00:eek::rotfl:. Actually if it is on mbuy in M, I think it's more likely to be 3 for £10.

But thanks for that. This -

[...]But, you never know - I always think I'm short in the fresh meat and the alcoholic drinks areas. It's probably because differing pack sizes in meat mean that few are comparable - they also vary (sometimes from week to week) in M and even between different M stores meaning they sometimes don't compare on the APG - if you notice any good comparisons let me know! As for alcohol, I just miss that, mainly because individual prices too expensive for me:rotfl:, but then some items are more expensive:laugh:.

you needed to PM me as soon as the 340g Turkey Steaks, or anything like them, with a 'good' price like that, came to light, as you know that posting here just won't draw my attention.

And, having worked out only afterwards:( - as time was of the essence with my shop - what the Hula Hoops should have worked out at, it seems pretty dear!!:eek: I make it they should be 65p a multipack - that's hardly any better than 10% cheaper than M's lowest price of 74p from ages ago:eek:. And I paid at least 2 for £3 on half of those in my shopping:mad::(:(.

So expensive. Another Savvy failed shop - I don't want a load of useless invisible triggers (that don't trigger anything as they trigger each other:(:rotfl:) in my shopping!!

Oh well, I suppose I have to spend something at some point:rotfl:.

EDIT: I make it - if it isn't a total failure - as a cost of £1.07 and a half pence per multipack on my shop! :eek:_pale_That's even more expensive than straight buying them in M.

    in my post savvy

    Yes, technically it was!
I must really pay far more attention to the difference between "7x25g" and "7x24g". The only trouble was I was flapping around (not literally) trying to prepare my shop very quickly and with midnight looming - I don't want my shop to go past as thinking mbuys might come back and put paid to the whole lot (not that I didn't put paid to half of it myself lol:rotfl:). However, it would be helpful zippy if people were more clear:p!:rotfl:

Folks, just to be aware, so that others don't trip up in a similar way to me, when I post things on lists or mention them you must be specific about the exact item and it doesn't necessarily include other flavours. For example, anyone trying the 3L Jucee juice for M vs T, do not get the Summer Fruits NAS version as that apparently isn't available in T but only the Orange Juice NAS version. Just so that's clear!

With others, like the biscuits, there were others available vs 50p/49p. I try to be comprehensive, but sometimes I am not. So, if I miss out a flavour, it could be that it isn't stocked and would be N/A, or it may be that it is stocked and also on the offer but I've missed it, or that I didn't pick it up because, although in other stores, including possibly the stores used by the actual price schemes, it may not be in the stores I've checked. Or a flavour I've not mentioned may be stocked but it may be only certain flavours are on an offer and the unmentioned flavour isn't but is at full price!

I've bought wrong items before now; I think we all have. The number of times I've done that has reduced significantly over the years and it's not very often I do that nowadays, but on a rare occasion I do:(! Just not part of the Elite am I on this? In the sense of just not as good as I ought to be!

I blame society, you know, for forcing me to be (or to become) less pedantic than what I naturally am. So that I sometimes (in RL) have had to pretend I didn't know, so as not to appear to be a 'know-all'.

I ought to be far more pedantic, far more of a 'jerk', far more autistic and much more correct on every occasion, without regard to how any other person might perceive me. It's like you (I!) am made to not want to do too well in school and am thus 'held back', so as not to appear to be a swot and to be socially ostracised (perhaps too strong a word) by your peers.

:rotfl:I suspect some of this post is a reflection of my own perfectionism and my own slight self-criticism sometimes for failing to meet my perfection standards. Perfectionism can be a 'bad' thing in that way, but anyway at least I am human:rotfl::rotfl:.

Just not on though is it, to fall for some weight reduction trick like that!(:rotfl:) Not in the least for being a very costly mistake. It's good to try to do all you can to avoid the same thing happening again in future - and therefore to have a 'perfectionism' that strives for such an improvement.

    More autism - that's the solution!:D:rotfl::rotfl::D

Oh:) (surprised). I did buy correctly on my shop after all!:T

    2 x KP Hula Hoops - Meaty Variety (7x25g)£3.50£2.00

But, at least I can now provide a clarification:D.
To clarify, I found the above one to be 7x24g on the packaging (B/C ends 112625) but it appears on the comp. as 7x25g. So, it appears you are looking for 7x24g with B/C ending 112625. But I suspect you all knew that (only me that didn't!:rotfl:).
I bought two other versions - BBQ Beef, which says 7x24g on the packaging and 7x24g on the comp. (B/C ending 112427) and Original, says 7x24g on both the packaging and the comp. (B/C ends 112441). So, all is well! Hula Hoops ended up costing me about 65p a multipack - really expensive as only just better than 10% lower than Morries' lowest price of eons ago:rotfl:.

They compare vs either M or S. Competitor price is £1. Or, in Northern Ireland, vs S.

Not sure you need the detail on the various Hulas and their B/Cs. But I do:D.

    Good night/morning folks!:):A

(Maybe the autism gets in the way as notices the differences between the gs. of each pack when, really, I ought just have picked up what was there on the shelf and not concerned myself with what it was afterwards, as there was only that packaging showing 7x24g for the Meaty Variety (and, as it happens, for the other two versions as well).) Think I need to do a weight adjustment now, to up the price to what it would be had it been 7x25g and then shortchanged in weight compared to what it was before compares to M's very old 74p (which must have been when they were 7x25g). Assuming exactly 65p a multipack, that costs 67.7083333...p adjusted to old money!:eek::rotfl:

I would have liked different flavours, but wasn't sure if the 7 Cheese & Onion would compare vs M. (It does not compare vs S according to msm.) As I wasn't sure whether they had 7 Cheese & Onion in the APG M stores. They might have, but no guarantees there! Not even sure if it's in the store I checked (because I didn't see £1 as any good price:rotfl:), but seem to think M have had it before, whether they do now I don't know offhand! So, instead, I played safe (...in theory, with the needless to-do over the Meaty Varietys in the meantime whilst waiting for my shop result:rotfl::rotfl:).
