Hello all, just done a mammoth catch up of the last few days.

Huge hugs to VT, you write so eloquently about your dear dad. I hope so much you are able to find a solution he is comfortable with. Your words also help me so much with my own situation, for which my heartfelt thanks x

Just noticed snickers 7 pack £1.50 on shelf. MSM showing £2.69 & only £2 in T or S. Think it works out 66p for 7 which is good. Just placed a C&C for lkater to test with some CIP & thorntons.
  • Thanks pd. almost went past your house today on our tunnel jaunt I think.
Congratulations on the big bundle of joy. Is he the baby they didn't want to know the sex of?

You should've said, you're welcome to pop round for a cuppa :)
Yep. They wanted a girl, but didn't want to find out in case they were disappointed. My SIL said she'd rather have not found out so when she gave birth she wouldn't care and would be glad it's over :rotfl:

    Morning all (ish) :D

Hi! How long do you have to wait to compare prices in a C& C?

I am missing the tumult of quick-fire grabbits that we used to have on the main board at this time of year - really seems to have dried up. I would get lots of my Xmas shopping done from random one line posts of all kinds of everything, and am hoping things will pick up or December will be manic

I know what you mean, I swear I had much more bought by this point last year. Do you think it's because lots of people are waiting for someone else to report bargains and never actually report any themselves? Or because the grabbit board has been rejigged so much? I know lots of people have been complaining that every time there is a grabbit, it gets moved to the relevant thread eg M&S/tesco/argos etc, which makes it more difficult to find.

I think quite a few people have switched to hukd as it's easier to find the one-off deals than trawling through masses of posts on long threads on the grabbit board :(
