I knew that!!:D:D I actually prefer the Trancentral song:o:o (I should not be saying I prefer something else but should instead be pretending to like whatever you have posted!:rotfl:) but I knew you'd post the OCS song. I was about to post to the same song myself, even though :laugh:I don't really like it!
(Bet there's some obscure, totally unrecognisable (to most people) version of it that I like though.)
I do like OCS - just possibly everything except that song.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Oh - and not fond of the Riverboat Song either, in other words their two most popular songs(:rotfl:), except that it's only the album version/radio edit, whichever is on the radio 'all the time', that's the one of that that I don't like. Some instrumental dance remix would be fine:rotfl::rotfl::eek::rotfl:. (How can I/my tastes be so cruel?:rotfl:)
One of my favs. is this:

Classic hit no. 36 peak in the charts probably.
Just one week at the low end, does help!:D:D:D:rotfl:0 -
Ooooo...close, number 35!:D

Bet they're good in proportion to how much lower the chart position is (higher numbers better of course;):D), after which the higher up the charts they get, the album versions/original radio edits start to become worse for me:rotfl::rotfl:.0 -

The website looks all lovely snd offers all sorts of things but spoke to the lady running it and they do none the palliative you expect them to do. Not a hospice as the term Hospice means a place to be given palliative care in last 6 months of life.
We feel we have had the small support network we were told of ripped out from underneath us. District nurse not due to visit until dad is unable to swallow.
drs do not visit terminally ill people in their home and neither it seems do nurses.
The various hospices in Bedfordshire are run by the sue Ryder trust.
Have a look at their website as definite misrepresentation. Many people probably donate because of the amazingly good work they show on website. I do know many people have said they are a great help.
Even the end of life injections which can be given hourly need a district nurse to administer and no chan fe of her turning up hourly.
The only extra support we can get auctioned quickly is more careers and dad doesn't want to be constantly disturbed and he hates not know exactly when they will turn up.
Hospice states respite care but they do not do this as we enquirer incasenthey could take dad until we could find suitable care home. No sticking him in any old place must suit him.
It seems to me sue Ryder offer a telephone contact service and liase with other department. The do not do anything else. Macmillan we saw one nurse in hospital , Marie curie nothing.
It will be use left alone with phone support and that it.
All conversations with dad in hospital were done without his primary carer present.
Oh well if the find a cure others will not suffer this.
10 weeks from diagnosis from blood test for something else. Not much time to learn what help would really be there.

Rock band?!?:huh: I wouldn't even call them 'rock' at all.
Commercial pop:p.
"Mechanical Wonder" was an excellent song too - they were a bit more rock in that (IMO). It's very scientific - there probably is a weighting of the chart position vs the precise amount and distribution of radio airplay (a former special interest and occasionally recurring theme of mine) and a precise mathematical equation that determines whether, and to what extent, Mr Savvy likes it or not:D:rotfl:.
It is scientific - radio play, more so these days, is done in the same way as supermarkets select products and prices for us. So there is a reason why something is where it is, on the air, and the precise amount of play it gets. Anyway, less of this...0 -

I suggested I used to be a sort of trainspotter in the past - not a full one as never went to the extent of taking any loco numbers. I realise that that should be the more delightful term: "railway enthusiast":D. Harmless activities, a bit like Morries price collecting.

That'll send half our readership to sleep if it has not already done!:D:D:rotfl:
[Edit: Oh, I've just realised - this post was totally coincidental, and nothing to do with about us talking about trains just then.]0 -

I am grateful for all thoughts on how to move forward.
Pm me if you feel strongly about your message I would like to read it.
Yes dad lives in lousy hospital trust area but hospice and sue Ryder ect are all independent charities.
Night all it has been an emotional day.

I think this song mentions trains:

Or maybe the "Dave's Found You Edit" that got way-overplayed did, and I went off that a bit.0
