I had a really promising-looking receipt tonight, but then noticed it dated from August:mad: It shows how tidy the store is:rotfl:Savvybuyer wrote: »I've still never got into double figures (of pounds), though some here have done that and much better than me! LG pasta sauce shop, from 7pm tonight; which is all I went for in the first place - spent £13.13 (with wombled APG), came back with 2 wombled APGs for £3.55, plus this one for £8.81 = £12.36 ... total outlay £0.77:D

Is there a limit on the number of APGs you can redeem at one time?'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

No surprise - nearest competitor, Morries, were just over £4 more expensive, though I've had all competitors much more expensive than that before.
They bought the wrong mix of kids sweets items, as usual. Also the wrong mix of 3 for £1 biscuits.
Thin Pork Sausages are only 340g. I normally go for 454g Thick Irish Pork Sausages or 454g CBY Pork Sausages - vs Morries at 2 for £2 at the moment. £2 on the 340g sausages bought is a straight price (no mbuy needed).

But 75p for 100ml (albeit having to buy 2:eek:) can seem reasonable in the context of £1 branded toothpaste tubes at 100ml - but then again, the supermarkets choose the prices, that then make us think that, and the supermarkets influence our brand perceptions too:rotfl:, making us assume that Colgate is better and that S/P, being way cheaper, isn't.

I actually paid for some food shopping last Wednesday (first time in about 3 weeks) - I spent nearly £1:eek:
Afterwards I had to have a lie-down in a darkened room with a cold flannel on my forehead.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
