On my quest to find out more about the morries stuff, I ventured into their FB page. I always get very amused at some of the random stuff people post on these pages :D

This in particular made me giggle-

'You do so well with keeping peach punnet prices low and on your unsalted nuts in home baking section. If you can follow this up with the unsalted nuts that are stocked elsewhere in your stores, more people will be inclined to eat healthily when on a very difficult budget, quality advice from one who knows what they're talking about!'

Unbelievably there is also someone on there complaining about As home deliveries :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

that's good :) I did myfitness pal a while last year - it becomes addictive (usually in a good way!) however I then did it along with slim fast and became obsessed with burning more calories at the gym than I had consumed in that day. It worked - the weight dropped off and hasn't totally come back but I wouldn't say I was being the most sensible! (2 shakes all day then heading to the gym for 1hour cardio then swimming a mile )

I may have to try getting back into using My Fitness Pal - I thought it came in most handy when out at a restaurant deciding what I should order

I have tried slimfast, totally undoable for me. Tried slimming world but the way of eating really didn't suit me so didn't last long on it. I am now on choose 2 change which is a 2 year plan that my gp referred me to and I go to meetings once a fortnight. It's just advice on healthy eating, exercise etc but they do say that monitoring your food intake is one of the best things you can do. I have lost a few pounds but then stuck for a bit and only started monitoring properly this week, if you look at my food diary on mfp you will see that nothing is out of bounds and I am eating around 1500 cals each day. Just got to keep at it ;)

Thank you- its not not what I wanted to hear, it certainly is what i needed someone else to say. Everyone connected says the same thing.

I have made my thoughts and feelings abundantly clear

Maybe now it's time to make your actions reflect your thoughts and feelings?

It's like with an addict, he will never accept that he needs to change, nor will he do anything to alter his behaviour, until he is forced to, and the only thing that will force him is if he is allowed to hit rock bottom without being bailed out by family and friends. You need to allow him to have his lightbulb moment, and that won't happen while he still has people supporting him.

Well done VT. It's not always glamorous to have a bed in the front room but sometimes it's the only thing that works and you have to make the best of it. You are doing brilliantly

:T:T to your DS. How exciting :D

To those that asked by PM about my hubby's job, that I've not replied to :o:o He has a job working 12 hours a week for a charity that has supported him ALOT!! His wages are being paid for, for a year by the poppy fund. So when /if you buy a poppy this year be absolutely assured that your money does go to good causes.

If anyone had told me my OH would be working and earning money and making a difference this time last year.....Id have been very doubtful. He isn't earning a fortune but to be funded to be working again has meant so much more to us than I have words to describe

So nice to hear things are improving. I did want to ask what he was doing, but wasn't sure it was appropriate, so thanks for letting us know.
