Today I decided to order a tumble dryer, sick of washing drying all over the house. Its coming on Friday :j Done without one for about 3 years but enough is enough - I give in.

Just started making a chilli con carne, got as far as frying the mince and onions and realised I had no tinned tomatoes  A quick google informed me that I could make it with tomato soup...I was dubious but it has turned out lovely. got to wait for OH to get back from his cooking class and we can tuck in :D

How can you have no tin toms:eek::eek:

Well the wait is over. My consultant called Cambridge and was told I had been unsuccessful with my application. Very disappointed.

Didn't know that the fumes of 99.9% alcohol can get you drunk!!

When we went to Jamaica we went to a rum place, they had 400% rum and they tend to export it to Germany of all places!

So sorry, I would have thought you would have been ideal :(

Onward and upward, did you have plans for what you would do if you were not successful?

  • N and VT- lovely picture.

Bubbs, if you've been ironing I take it the hand is ok today? All ready to take over as nurse for Mr Bubbs? Op soon isn't it?

Rose, sorry it's bad news but at least you know now. (Hug)

Must admit I'm a little jealous of those who've won on the doctor O. I've bought 'a few' and nada!

Such a let down for you rose :( and to keep you waiting so long to let you know is not nice. Maybe something better is around the corner
