    Good night all.
The bathtub awaits and I leave most of the house looking like a scene from Frozen :rotfl:

I've just been reading about your infestation JJ. I hope you don't mind me asking, but have you informed wherever you have re-homed your birds to that they are infested?

I too learnt the hard way and had infestation early on :( it is totally avoidable though. I now disinfect the coop every week, dust the birds once a month and probably about every 2 months take the coop apart and jet wash it. The hot weather brings on infestations. We had a few mites in the house whilst we sorted the infestation out.........brought in on clothes no doubt? but it only was a few and lasted a few days at most.

I only ask about the chickens as if they are infested, re-homing them could mean infesting other birds. Id also be careful about using diatomous Earth indoors. One of my children has asthma and diatom really sets it off.

    Good morning Elite :hello:

Home from my travels and suffering withdrawal symptoms from not having any internet :(

Went to old thread and found you'd moved

Thank you Poppy for the new thread, well done

qoc sad state of affairs with no sign of Scamps :(:( I am so worried about what may have happened but thanks for persevering in trying to get in touch with him. It crossed my mind, and is only a thought, but, when he does his boot sales does he have the same pitch?
Maybe someone who has a pitch next to or opposite may know him and could tell you. Or is that going to far into his personal space?

Right guys, my bed is calling me to snuggle down and get some sleep so it's over and out from me until later this morning

    Night night Elite x
