Thankyou tweets am looking forward to being with all my friend who are from my Widowed group so its a Ladies only night tonight but believe you me we know how to party.1)Good food 2) Plenty of good music 3) Plenty of good booze and off course not forgetting excellent company and now the sun has even come out so will not spoil the hair do;)

Must be nice being able to go out with friends.

At work they keep telling me I am going out with them on their Christmas do I keep saying I am not.

So they say just go for the meal and come home . But I know I wont go I don't like being in big groups . ( Virtual groups are different) Not sure think group will have around 10 in it the mid days go and some kitchen staff who no longer work in my kitchen.

I wont feel comfy and would rather stay here. Meal would cost more than what I spend on food in a week :rotfl::rotfl:

    Afternoon Nannylala :hello:

I am just talking to your Lala about Little Alfie :) and Poppy :). Sounds like Alfie goes to a wonderful vets :T. Poppy's vet charges nearly £50 for walking through the door :( cant understand why vets charge so much before our pets are seen :(

I had a vet bill of just under £500 last month  Did I tell you guys that I adopted a Romanian Stray? He came over on 31st May this year. Our Berry Bear is about 9 years old, walks badly on his front legs due to accident when he was on the streets, and doesn't do walks because of this. He dug himself a shallow hole to sleep in the first night he arrived, in the corner of the garden, and I was like 'no, you don't have to do that now Berry' and within a few nights he was sleeping on the bed, with the help of a little platform to help him get up there, and recently found that it is OK to get on the sofa using the footstool to help him get up there bless him. After a lifetime of horrors on the streets of Romania, he can live out his days in comfort surrounded by love now :A

But he did give me a fright a few weeks ago, when he went off his food and started being sick and then pooing dark blood  Turned out to be gastrointestinal bleeding after rushing him to vets. Kept in to be put on a drip, as he was badly dehydrated, which he kept chewing and pulling out, and when he chewed the electric cables too, they gave up and administered the fluids subcutaneously and orally. He recoverd quickly but my bank balance didn't lol. Frightening at the time, but all well now. He is a joy to watch as he discovers how comfy and fun life can be :j
