FC I'm sorry about bossy Betty. What a cool name :)

I had to go to boots opticians on my way home from work because I'd lost one of the nose pieces on my glasses and they were sitting odd on my face, giving me headaches. They replaced both of them, in exchange for a donation to their charity box :D

My glasses now sit on my face properly :D

The kids always pick the names. We had one called sweet beaks and my favourite was a nearly featherless ex-battery hen called 'Roast' :o :rotfl:

Bossy Betty is in a box in the garage awaiting OH arriving home. Id bury her myself but Im likely to end up in a hole myself if I dig in my state :o
I've had to lock the garage door to stop DS2 from checking that she is actually dead......he's not convinced  neither is he upset in the slightest. I've just had his usual speech about how she exceeded the average life expectancy of a chicken :o
so sorry to hear about Bossy Betty FC :( :A
    Happy Bargain Hunting!!

She been asleep since I came home and went walkies.

She was limping when I came in but walked normally on her walk :)

Her tea will be putting out in next couple minutes so will see if she comes and eats it if not I will leave her be.

Doesn't sound too bad if she was ok on her walk. Maybe she cleaned it while you were at work.

Congrats on weightloss. Close to your autumn challenge too. :D

Another Poppy update : Showed her her bowl and tin food and she limped into kitchen ate her tea. Wanted to go out into garden didn't limp. Came back in and limped to her bed.

Now why isn't she limping outside but is inside

I will have to see if she jumps on bed and sleeps with me tonight or if she sleeps on the floor.

    Thank you on weightloss :)

We all pick our weightloss for Autumn Challenge Thread and I went for a do able loss ;)

Need to lose another 3lb and I will have lost 10% of my starting weight :j
