The reason that Cranberry Jelly (215g) in M at 59p now turns out to be more expensive (very slightly) per 100g. than the T Eday Value is because it was 55p before:(.

I found that when retrieving the Dan Cakes from my list on the previous thread. The Cranberry Jelly had been 55p in M - that price, I remember, was originally due to expire in October, but then got pulled several weeks early. Then went up to full prices (85p? 89p:eek:?) in M - and now on not as good offer (apparently less than a week now left of that).

They never go from 55p to 59p with a crossed out 55p do they?:(:(

So, please do not succumb to it - avoid it and do not reward this shenanigans. The previous (albeit not immediate previous) 55p price was better, by weight, than Eday Value Cranberry Sauce (185g) at 50p. However, the 59p price is now worse. Meaning that both Eday Value and M Cranberry Jelly are now worse priced than M Cranberry Jelly was about three weeks ago. I think now just avoid the lot - you don't really need any Cranberry Jelly, or Sauce!:):rotfl:

I was quite justified all along therefore in not allowing Cranberry Jelly at expensive 59p:eek: to get onto the M list now.
