For anyone wanting a free day out in London, Brighton or Bristol....

If you sign up to the Viva 30 day vegan pledge you can get a free ticket to the Vegfest London, Brighton or Bristol, (normally £10 each).

When you sign up Viva send you an email every day with meal plans etc and the first email gives you a link to email Alan at Vegfest, they then post you out a free Vegfest ticket of your choice.

    http://www.viva.org.uk/30dayvegan

The Vegfest is a bit like the BBC Good Food Show except its all veggie. It's one of those events that you can eat & drink your way around lol, so a nice cheap day out if you live near one of the shows?

You don't have to be veggie or vegan to attend. I've been to a few and everyone is welcome and there are always great show deals on food items including lots of organic, gluten free products etc.

They send your ticket out by post so if you want free tickets for the London Olympia show then best to do it ASAP as it is this weekend.

Some of the recipes in the emails look good too (you can preview them before you sign up).

    Vegfest dates:
London Olympia Saturday Sept 27th & Sunday Sept 28th 2014
    Brighton Saturday March 28th & Sunday March 29th 2015
    Bristol Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th May 2015

You can find a programme for the London Vegfest here: http://london.vegfest.co.uk/files/VegfestUKLondon2014Programme.pdf

And details of all the Vegfest shows here: http://www.vegfest.co.uk/
"I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."

    Thanks for asking TS.

Yes I think the fly problem is on it's way to being sorted thanks to CoTs self help guide:cool:

Sealant has been removed and replaced with fresh. Drain unblocker has been used, boiling water and domestos too and *touch wood* the problem is disappearing.

I'm now certain that they were coming up through the plug hole but breeding away from the drain....ie heading towards light.

    Relief:)
