Pukka-Pies Chicken & Gravy (550g)£3.25 £2.00 Not as good as vs T on previous offer (£1.74 expired some time ago)
Pukka-Pies Chicken & Mushroom Pie (226g)£1.50 92p But more expensive price per unit than above Chicken & Gravy pie.
Pukka-Pies Steak & Kidney Pie (238g)£1.50)92p As above - more expensive price per unit
Pukka-Pies All Steak Pie (233g)£1.50 92p More expensive PPU than non-comparable 550g version in M and that itself not as good as previous T pricing - as per above 550g Chicken & Gravy Pie.
[...]
Note the part that says "But more expensive... than above Chicken & Gravy Pie", however the "above" Chicken & Gravy Pie, namely the 550g one, is believed not to be on for Avs M at the moment.
The 550g pie was £2 in M possibly two weeks ago (weeks fly by, it may have been three weeks ago, but anyway). However, it was found at full price last Wednesday - which I think means in excess of £3:eek: - I do not always retain expensive prices to which we would not knowingly compare.
I am clarifying this here just to make you aware of a very subtle way in which I do the M list. Items come and go all the time. When an item is deleted completely from the M list, it may be that it simply went completely OOS, with no SELs being kept anywhere, in all of my stores. It could be that it remains on offer elsewhere in the country, unknown to me, but has disappeared entirely from my stores (and there's no trace on msm as a further check causing me to retain it despite what appeared - or didn't! - in my stores).
Now, I could, once again, find the item in my stores the following week. So, in stock and found originally, then next week completely disappeared, then week after found once more. I'll therefore put it back onto the list - and if I think it was actually continually on offer throughout - I'll just add it back, without any attention, in normal text, not bold.
However, on this occasion, notice that, extremely subtly, the Chicken & Gravy Pie 550g is in bold!
This pie was deleted from my M list. But it is not the case that it disappeared last week - it found last week at full price!
Therefore, note that the bold means it is not on the APG yet - as pricing is not yet updated on that - but that it has been seen (by me) only to go back on £2 today.
Sometimes I miss things! I know - rare indeed, but it happens!:D:rotfl: Sometimes, I may add items onto the M list but, if it was merely that I missed it last time - or didn't get round to adding it and am adding it belatedly - it will go straight in non-bold text (it was known already available last time but perhaps I noticed it and didn't go to the trouble of writing it onto the list). If however I have seen something for the first time, or if I missed it last time and I'm not sure whether it was on offer or not, it will go in bold just to try to be on the safe side, as suggesting 'do not buy yet, but need to wait for APG to catch up with update'. Of course it may never be 'safe' at all, as the APG/T PP might never pick it up.
HTH. If something disappears and then comes back in bold, maybe it went up in price in M in the meantime and has just gone back down. If something disappears and then reappears back but hasn't been put in bold, maybe it was on offer throughout but, like the APG, I glitch N/A on and off again as not always found consistently in my M stores (though I try!).
For example, the very attentive people will have noticed one of the flavours of the Caitlins yoghurts got crossed off on Tvs M, whilst the other remained. The one that remained was clearly on half price in both my M stores throughout. The one crossed however, that then got removed before being reinstated without bold text, i.e. went back on normally and without notice, it turned out simply to be the half price label had dropped off the shelf in one of my Ms thus it was thought that that flavour had gone back up to full price, then it was discovered that both versions were/are in fact on half price offer until October:rotfl:.
Very attentive will also have noticed the Bob Martin Poop Scoop Bags have gone down in price by 5p in M:rotfl:.0 -
