It's going ok. Tough working from home. A lot trickier to adjust to than I thought it would be.

    *hic* good evening :o:D

So come on, what time did you get out of bed this morning?

    Ooh, crikey!:D

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eidetic_memory

Eidetic memory (/aɪˈdɛtɪk/) is an ability to recall images, sounds or objects in memory with high precision for a few minutes without using mnemonics. It occurs in a small number of children and is rare in adults.

I don't use mnemonics to help me remember items and their prices in Morrisons.

"Eidetic memory is the ability to recall images in great detail for several minutes."

I come back home from M as soon as I can, and I remember things in detail, hopefully for "several minutes"!

However, :(it's not necessarily "images", instead I just remember the items/prices. I don't see pictures of the items or a visual representation of the prices, just the memory there (unless I'm trying to recall by remembering my journey through M, and then I see images:D, of the travelling through the shelves. Not "out of body" images, but just I imagine (or try hard to imagine!) exactly how I saw products in M).

"A few adults have had phenomenal memories (not necessarily of images), but their abilities are also unconnected with their intelligence levels and tend to be highly specialized."

Think I'll go and read this article, as that's a pretty geeky thing to do:D:rotfl::rotfl:.

EDIT: It's a great gift isn't it really? A great gift from God!:D

Memories, of a different kind. Spooky that we were - I think this is at least the second time it's happened - thinking of a similar word at the same time as each other, great minds...!:T

EDIT: Last time, I recall:D, it was coffee.
Now, does anyone else recall that from all that time ago?:rotfl:

Flying visit as am off to bed - not had chance to read back so hope all is well in the elite world. I popped into Ts this afternoon and managed to get an Edward take and play for 4p. They were posted on hukd ages ago but have never seenany til now. Will try to post a pic in the morning.

I also got a Lindt Creation with an MBG on, I thought £2 was a bit extravagant but as I would be claiming it back I took the plunge. I just dug out the receipt ready for putting aside and sending off with the packaging and low and behold, it has scanned at 50p.

bc is 2552 if anyone is in there might be worth a look, don't think I will process the mbg now :rotfl:Not sure if the dark choc orange one will go through at the same price. This was the Middleton T.

Night night all, sweet dreams

Edit: Forgot to say - the other reduced items were Walkers market deli crisps 165g, Tracker Cereal bars white choc x 6 and McVities Breakfast Biscuits 6 pack all 50p each

  • I had a really bizarre day recently, I was feeling very low, too much to do and not enough time to myself. I really needed DH, one of those days.
Well my day started with the normal school run, radio on and the first song is goo goo dolls - iris. We used to belt this one out :o
    Next is
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kryV3E4QKGk again one I used to sing to him, made him smile the most dazzling smile ever.

School run done and off to do a few hours work, get back into the car feeling so fed up when this comes on
    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KNZH-emehxA. Our wedding song :(

Then https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uZvKGXNEI0Y. This was out the summer we met and played non stop on the radio.

More work to do then school run time again and a song we chose for our wedding video came on as I was waiting for DS
    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=a-Lp2uC_1lg

By this stage it was starting to freak me out that songs with meaning to me just happened to be on when I was in the car. Well as I was going home this one came on
    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JkK8g6FMEXE
Means quite a bit to me, we used to sing it to get DS to sleep (if that didn't work playing rage against the machine did :rotfl:) but was another one that I'd sing to him and played it at his funeral :(

I think I was meant to hear all of those even if it freaked me out, it made me feel a little bit better :o
