Just had this come through on an email from Sainsburys

From 2 October, your Brand Match coupon will just compare our prices and deals on brands with Asda.

Tesco will no longer be part of Brand Match.

Visit the Customer Service Desk in store or sainsburys.co.uk/brandmatch for more information.

Sainsburys sent me a booklet of conditional spends - £8 wys £40 for 6 weeks  I barely spend £40 a month in sainsbobs. I might have to ebay these - might be better than wasting them.

My other 2 mailings form !!!!!! have arrived :D

So I just have to write a list now of things that might give me some Shopotize/COS/Quidco cashback and/or some TPP.

    some ideas please
£1 of beauty, toothcare or hair care
£1 cereal - out of muesli
    £1 biscuits

please can I ask if I've got a points voucher for biscuits as has OH, if I do a click and collect will it allow me to use both online codes for just one lot of £1 biscuits?

£8 off £40 is actually quite a good offer. In effect it was £8 off £30 when I was using it in conjunction with BM - easier to do as you are spending half the amount required on the shop that is £10 at the competitor and then filling the rest of the basket with 'cheap' non-comparables (harder to do, but nonetheless I did quite well - usually half price offers that aren't available at the chosen competitor, even though they may have been full price at the other competitor:rotfl:) and with Sains. basics own brands - mind you, with the price inflation on a lot of those products, it may be harder to find stuff worth buying from Sains., without losing pence here and pence there, which does add up and should therefore be subtracted from the £8, making it not quite as good an offer as it used to be, also subtract from the £8 10% of the Sains. price of anything that has an equivalent in A - again, the effective amount off is coming down:(.

T have sent me some coupons - 85p off one product that usually is on offer at £1. Might have been good, although I'm still resisting it as do not want losing 15p to T - would require me to spend way more on nine other items and wouldn't be making the 'loss' back. Also the product is not on offer at £1 these days, but £1.14:(. Other offers, a few 'extra points' coupons - not very many, and none of them requiring less spend than the points value (when quadrupled, and anyway we'd only end up with yet again the same days out places to go to, very limited selection left for me now and cost of petrol getting to the places is a very significant loss - not that I should be pedantic about getting out and about lol:rotfl:). They have however sent me a coupon for a free (small-ish) block of cheese (seemingly up to the value of £1.50) - strangely all the other coupons are valid now and until October/November, but this one doesn't become valid until a month's time. Perhaps hoping I would forget:rotfl::rotfl:.

Fortunately I have an excellent memory (including of their previous prices that were cheaper than what they are now) and I think that coupon might be the only one I'll be using:rotfl:, when I happen to pop by one of my Ts in about a month's time. Well, why not and it would be "rude" not to, whatever the meaning of the word "rude" might or might not be, totally unfathomably to me!(:rotfl:)

Most unusual thing in my handbag at the moment is a lego 'where are my pants' figure from the lego movie. It was a present from a colleague and it's been in there for months.

Afternoon all. Feeling very low today. I've got no right to considering all the things other people are going through but I found out the guy I ended things with last year (because he couldn't commit) has got a new girlfriend....who he is proudly calling his girlfriend. He didn't have the balls to tell me himself, just stopped talking to me last month and I found out by accident.

I've been crying on and off all week and I'm having trouble adjusting to working from home. This isn't helping my concentration and I feel miserable and don't want to do anything at all.

    Sorry for the pity party.
