sarahdol75, knowing what upsets him is key, a dog doesn't just bark for no reason, although the reason might not seem reasonable to us, is there a noise from the heating or maybe a shadow that happens around that time, my max gets spooked for the daftest reasons, does harley have a crate or is he free roaming, have you introduced anything new in the room he sleeps sorry it's a hard one when they can't talk and tell you what's wrong:oThe person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0

I am picking up my new cat at 1pm it's a 1 year old female so i need a pet carrier of some kind so any suggestions of where to get one would be most welcome and any other tips it's my first time owning a cat. Thanks
You might be able to borrow one from the vet or your local animal rescue place or try Freecyle.
You also need a cat litter tray and a bag of wood chips.
Make sure you cover over any nice furniture you have
They are supposed to be inside for 6 weeks when they first come home- it is nerve wrecking. We had a cat pen for Sophie and took it in the garden during the day so she could get used to the smells and the noises“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Morning all! Thanks for new thread Poppy. Can't believe I missed as I went to bed just before you did it and now it's already page 8!
Got HD coming later, will it compare v Ms? Bit like a birthday present - will it or won't it be something I want? lol!
Viv - re new cat.
I would also say that when you bring it home it's best to open the box and let it come out itself. Put some food nearby and the litter tray (but not too near each other) and let it acclimatise. I've found with mine they've liked a bit of time to explore and roam before being bombarded with cuddles etc. And I don't know if you have any kids but I'd keep them back a little for the same reason.0 -

thanks for the new thread poppy lets hope its a good one.0 -
I got very excited about a mailing from Mr T
- turned out to be double pointers x 2 so maybe an extra 25 points from I can be bothered to do a click and collect.
Of the rest they are all useless MOCs for things I've bought maybe a year ago - there is a tesco bread one I might use and a Delmonte juice which I only buy if I've got mailing mocs.
One miserable points voucher for a meat free item for 35 points.
I noticed that the expiry date is 16/11 which must be the end of the quarter so we are at the half way point now
Off to see if my other card is due to also get an exciting mailing“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Preparing myself for the latest battle with DSes school over bullying yet again, they'll be sick of seeing me this year again as this is the third time I've been to see someone in the 3 weeks since school started back!
I've written notes so I know what I need to say and don't get confused/mixed up. I'll need them as my brain's on a go slow this morning but what's new there :rotfl:
Hope school get it sorted for you SD, heartbreaking when your kids experience bullyingIt doesn't half bring the lioness out in us mums :T I always write notes for myself when I go into school or for hospital appointments - learnt from many years coming out having forgotten to say this and that
Forgot to say thanks to Poppy for the new thread :A just done a catchup and am ready for the new week.
