Tonight's shop - checking that the nappies compare nicely before stocking up for new Grandbaby due in the new year :)

Works out at £2.18 after APG.

one thing that hasn't been mentioned is that doctors can pick and choose their hours.... most choose not to work evenings or weekends!:(

try not to be ill at these times.....

Oh no, dont say that. Had to call an ambulance earlier due to OH having severe breathing problems (he has COPD and keeps getting flare ups). Took ambulance 45 mins to get here  but now safely in hospital being cared for :A

I know, but thank you for clarifying (even though the word "french" should have an initial capital letter? Maybe).

Post now updated, difficult to post it straight off as page keeps going to the far right-hand-side and the text running off the end of the page as I try to post it. (When I use 'edit', it's back in the middle of the screen again, so that is much better:T.)

    These -

    Quorn Low Fat Sausages (300g)

should be A £1.89 (3 for £5) vs Morries 99p. As looks now to be usual, msm comes to the rescue by telling us three dash signs there:rotfl:.

I've just remembered that as I've been looking at the Quorn Quarter Pounder Burgers (2) and, once again, msm comes to the rescue by telling us they are a Savvy Buy in T at £1.25:(:(. No, absolutely not. A bit of disagreement from me again with msm, as they too are 99p in M, so ought to be T £1.25 vs M 99p. N.Ireland - sorry, you have to settle for £1.25 or not buying them at all (the ultimate 'money-saver':D).

The Quorn Sausages (6 pack) ought to be on the M list, as McCartney's 6 Veg. Sausages go onto the list when they are £1 (not at the moment there!;)). Whether they (the Quorn ones) will work or not is a different matter though. Linda McCartney's are back up to £2 (they've been back up to that for a short time) in M. These Quorn items have actually been on offer at 99p in M for about a couple of weeks already, but I was previously having trouble determining which items they were as the 'main' offer label was in a completely different aisle to the product. The only Quorn Sausages I could find near to the actual offer label were a pack (rather than box) of 336g, so I was initially trying to work out whether it was that one that was being referred to or not and I concluded it was not - but couldn't actually find the 300g version the offer label was referring to*. All the troubles I have in M, eh!:rotfl::rotfl: (If they actually put it in the same aisle...:rotfl:) It now turns out that it's a box rather than a pack (...a box, would you believe?) and is these "Low Fat" Sausages. So there!:p:rotfl:

In the price 'reductions' (if you can call them that:rotfl:) at T, they've also put the price on the Kenco Rappor Coffee (200g) down to £2.25:(, thus slashing the T PP (vs M) (assuming that this ever worked) to a penny:( instead of £2.26. Was £4.50 T vs M £2.24. Now £2.25:(:(:( vs £2.24.

*(as other similar items were on offer at £1 in T at the time anyway, I left it at that)
