Nectar/sainsburys coupons in post?

Why do some people get vouchers posted to them while others don't?
The people who get them posted does it happen monthly? I see people in front of me with £12 off a spend of 60+ and petrol vouchers etc but I've never been posted anything by nectar. I've checked my settings and there's nothing wrong, also tried using a new nectar card to see if that had any effect but no.
Here is an example of the vouchers I'm on about http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2FgmgSSv_Fc/Uymm0mdhVNI/AAAAAAAAH8Y/aETr1afIUps/s1600/IMG_6265.JPG

Hi
I would be really interested to know the answer to this as I too never receive these vouchers and like you have seen other people with them. I have always assumed that because I spend a lot of money there is no need to send me incentives to shop.0 -
I sometimes got them in sets of 3 for £18 off a £90 spend and 500 extra points for using all 3 but most recently got a much worse deal with a till print to get 6,500 points for spending £90 on 5 occasions.
Didn't seem to be any pattern to the posted ones it could be several months between them then 2 sets with just a couple of weeks gap.0 -
I recently had £6 off £30 for 6 weeks posted to me. I am not a big shopper at Sainsburys (Aldi first then top up at one of Tesco, asda, Sains) for the stuff aldi don't sell. I imagine therefore its to encourage me to use sainsburys more, which I have done for the duration of the vouchers only.
If you don't get vouchers posted, try going to another supermarket for a few months maybe with the odd tiny shop at Sains so they think they have lost you? You might get some vouchers then. HTH0 -
Like Clowance says, sometimes used to tempt back infrequent shoppers. I'm currently working through 6 weeks worth of £4 off a £20 shop. Once they're gone I'll shop somewhere cheaper until the next batch are sent.0

I'm an infrequent Sainsbury's shopper, and occasionally get a few in the lead up to Christmas. Don't remember getting them any other time.0

Yes, me and OH occasionally get them although not on a regular basis. As in your illustration, they come in batches of six, one to be used in each consecutive week for six weeks, with a nectar point bonus if you use all six - the most recent sets alternated between money off one week and 6p a litre of petrol the next, with a minumum spend required each time.
We've found that the more you use them, the less enticing the discount / the higher the amount they seem to want you to spend in any subsequent set until they stop altogether for a while. As we're not big spenders (we only tend to do a supermarket shop once a month or so and would struggle to get up to £70 or £80 even then ) we only tend to use those that require you to spend a lower amount.0
