its a bit of a different situation as my creditor wasnt chasing me for funds since the keys were handed back to the property 3 years ago, i only got married less than a year ago and have been trying to save up since to pay them back, i dont have a card for the account so panicked a little when i knew my date was drawing up close to get them back the money i did though, its a bit different that oweing over 140k on a house, 3k wouldnt clear that and id still have to go bankrupt this was to help our parents both out, yes i prob did prioritise but its family ill just have to be honest about it. but its family ill just have to be honest about it.
hmm well we dont pay them rent, they also look after our kids the hours i do work and they take nothing for that either, it wouldnt feel right writing that i do when we dont0

Fair enough. Just be honest with the OR. It seems they are unlikely to take much action over 3k from what I read, maybe others can say either way? It might mean that your bankruptcy is extended though and you are under the restrictions for a bit longer.

Thank you so much for getting back to me dancing fairy.
That is my interview finished.. I have to say the or was very nice and understanding, he really put me at ease. The interview didnt last very long as it was fairly straight forward, i do have documents to pass on to him which im searching for at the min.
He didnt really go through the income and expenditure... do they do that in their own time with the figures we put down... I had to bring up the account myself to explain what i had written above, he said it had changed things slightly and he would need to amend what he had written as they might now have to try and retrieve it like you said dancing fairy, but i explained why i did what i did and it has all been noted, i hope they do understand the reasons as to why...
Can i ask when do they normally discuss an IPA? is it after they look through the accounts etc he understands any surplus money we have at the min is trying to get a deposit up to go rent somewhere but will this be discussed at a later stage?
Feeling quite overwhelmed at the min and a bit in limbo, some explain feelings of relief i just feel strange and hope this is a start now that me and my family can get a life together, its been a very difficult year.0

When I had my interview, the Examiner told me there would be an IPA but didn't tell me how much until a few days later. The examiner was very fair and even added things into my SOA and told me about them when giving me the IPA amount I'd be paying each month (which gives me a very fair living allowance, we no longer struggle and have a few pounds left over at the end of the month and this money goes into our Christmas fund)
The OR should allow you to save some money for a deposit on somewhere to live. If they give you an IPA, you can make arrangements at that point with regards to saving up. Did you have much spare in your submitted SOA?0
