Hello everyone
I've been trying to help my boyfriend sort out his finances. He has noticed some payments that shouldn't be coming out of his account, for things that were settled a while ago. He also has a loan of £3091.
He got his experian credit report, and his score is 971. He wants to get rid of the loan in the quickest and cheapest way possible. I thought that the best way would be to do a money transfer from a 0% CC, but when we looked at his eligibility thing that Martin Lewis has on here, it says he has a 40% chance of getting one?
So plan b, would be to get a better loan at a lower % and shortened length term. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
Also, he had an agreement with Apple through Clydesdale Finance, which has now been settled, but they have still been taking payments out of his account since it was settled months ago? Has anyone had any experiences with dealing with them?
Thanks

Hello everyone

I've been trying to help my boyfriend sort out his finances. He has noticed some payments that shouldn't be coming out of his account, for things that were settled a while ago. He also has a loan of £3091.
How were these payments made ? DD, or by card ?
He needs to look into this ASAP, either cancel the DD`s or the cards constant payment authority.
He needs to find out where this money has gone, how long they have been taking it, and why, if the accounts were settled.
He needs to do this straight away.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
