Go to bed, and in total pitch black listen to War of the Worlds through headphones, totally amazing :eek:

If I am comping during the day I listen to Absolute 80s on the DAB, if I am comping at stupid o'clock like now just total silence which is fantastic :T

Never heard WOW. Think I'll have a listen. I do my comping quietly surrounded by my lucky "friends" all lined up.

I don't think anyone's owned up to doing that :eek: can't think what a comping mantra chant would sound like :rotfl:

I usually catch up on some trash tv via Sky Go on the lappy and comp on the tablet (or vice versa) - mildly entertaining without being too distracting

Spotify free is great for listening to new tracks/albums, so that's my go-to place for music ATM

Well..... it wasn't so much a mantra but.... If I was entering a money can't buy comp that I really, really wanted to win (something like a 5 minute match with John Cena) then I would look up (I comp in a room with a glass ceiling) blow a kiss and say "please if you could nudge the odds in my favour I'll be really grateful". Until the day I looked up, finger on the enter button and was faced with a most unpleasant view of a cat! :eek:


Kind of got the feeling the Gods were saying... "And this is what we think of your request" so I don't bother any more. :rotfl:

I have two cats so know all about the 'chocolate starfish' experience!! eeueww :rotfl::rotfl:

I once 'accidentally' bought a book about 'asking the great cosmos for what you want' and then realised that it was foreworded by Noel Edmonds, and gave myself a good talking too :eek: I did try a few polite 'requests' to the greater spirit when I used to play the lottery, but never even won a tenner :cool:
