Fee free accord mortgage broker

Hey, I have a BTL and am looking for a mortgage broker who doesn't charge me a fee and deals with accord. Anyone know one?
Thanks for the help in advance.

    Good luck with that.

My first reaction to someone wanting to deal with Accord is to double our fee.

I knew Kingstreet would beat me to it with that line !!

What size mortgage do you want (not an enquiry for the case by the way - we don't do fees free) ?

    Why Accord ?

  • I would suggest the OP doesn't need a broker, he's found the lender he likes so best of luck with that one.

    Accord only deal with brokers.

Im with Kingstreet and senior paper monitor! Actually I tell a lie, I would never do a Mortgage with them, double my normal fee would not be enough to do business with them.

    Me too.

The double fee thing was a quip.

Faced with the reality of such a case, I'd find another lender or decline to accept the business.

And I thought it was just me who felt this way, they are a nightmare, shame as they do have some quite good rates.

    Even their criteria looks good.

Until you realise they are only joking, although if they do decide to let you take advantage of their criteria you have to have lie detector tests, references from school teachers and neighbours, pull a sword out of a stone, watch the underwriters laughing at you and then lastly blood and urine tests which you then fail on the blood test because you have high blood pressure.

Its like the krypton factor - but with no winner!

We had their BDM to one of our meetings.

Everything sounded good. Then we got to the nitty gritty. We need an offer so exchange can take place within 28 days.

"Give us a ring and I'll tell you if it's worth doing the business with us," came the reply.

Needless to say, we didn't bother.

Youve actually met someone from there!
I struggled to even get call backs.

They found out how much business we were doing and wanted a slice.
