Hi
I am just about to start on a DMP with payplan, which is ok, but I am stressed at the moment. I've had to revert to an old bank a/c with Halifax who personally I don't like. I am receiving the odd letter but managing ok at the moment. Payplan are hoping to set up for nxt month. I'm just feeling very stressed. I keep thinking perhaps I should have just keep paying - I know this is foolish as outgoings were same if not higher than income so no choice really.
I have taken on a 2nd job but my first job is sooo demanding 0700 - 1800 most days, if I hit my targets - which manager is sure I will - he's a kind of mentor and i'm doing well, then in Sept there is a 1900 bonus and in I should be able to earn upwards of 800 a month bonus alone, which is fab. Which is why I worry I should have taken a managed Loan with HSBC or soldiered on until Sept, I dunno i'm sure I am doing the right thing, but DF has no idea how much the stress is getting to me

Hi
Dmp with Payplan was the BEST thing i have ever done. It is daunting when you start but once it all gets settled the stress falls away. Pop on over to the DMP support thread where we are all going through the same thing. Some are just starting like yourself and some are old hands they have helped me immensly. Good luck and well done on sorting out your debt.

Hi Piptom&AndyPandy I have just paid my second DMP payment through the CCCS. It is very stressful when you start out but it does get better!!! I agree with YellowMonkey .There are a lot of us on here going through the same thing, so If you want advice and support or just to read about what kinds of things have happened to others on DMPs then come on over to the DMP mutual support thread. Hope that we might see you over there as it were!:wall: Only Dead Fish Go With The Flow!!!

Sorry we must have posted at the same time. We are on page 2 at the moment. This is my poor attempt at posting the link. It probably won't work so I apologise in advance.

Hi. I too have just set up a dmp with payplan. My first payment comes out on august 27th. It's tough at the moment but i'm assured it gets easier. I work long hours but am starting a pub job to earn some spending money. I know its hard, i suffer depression and its at its worst at the moment, but you'll look back and be pleased you did something about it (well thats what i'm hoping anyway! Lol!)0
