Two bits of good news today..

My car has been checked and there was a faulty part when it was repaired earlier this month so this repair is free. Thank goodness

We also made a decision about which mortgage to go for so the application is now starting.

Fingers crossed on the mortgage application

Collected the car today and she's sounding like her goodold self again - not rattling, not idling badly, back to her normal acceleration and not rattling all over the place - woo hoo! Huge relief.

I was seriously contemplating that I may need to replace her asap
