Did my first Metafit class last night, it's only half an hour but holy moly it's a hard half hour!
It's interval training like Insanity or the like, but in a pattern -
Exercise 1 (18 secs)
Rest (20 secs)
Exercise 1/Exercise 2 (18 secs each)
Rest (20 secs)
Exercise 1/Exercise 2/Exercise 3 (18 secs each)
Rest (20 secs)
Exercise 1/Exercise 2/Exercise 3/Exercise 4 (18 secs each)
Rest (20 secs)
Then you work your way back down to one exercise. 2 rounds of that, then all 8 with 6 seconds rest between rounds! Eek!
Got through it but was aching by the end.
Would definitely recommend it

I teach metafit. Also fatburn extreme which is similar. I prefer it to insanity, but I also prefer teaching freestyle HIIT classes that are my own and its not my preferred class when I go and do a class. Im happier doing boxercise/thump boxing.
The patterns dont stay the same from workout to workout, theres a lot of variation.0 -
I'm really looking forward to next week, I was exhausted afterwards but really enjoyed it
