Hi
Probably one of those silly questions but would appreciate ann answer....my dad bought a house nearly 20 years ago and had it in my name and mortgage was paid out of my bank.
....it was sold about 15 years ago so i'm assuming i wouldn't be a ftb? Is there any time limits on ft...not had any property in my name since then and now saving to buy.
Thanks in advance!

You aren't a first time buyer, but there are a few lenders who will treat you as one if you haven't owned a property in the last three years, for example.I am a mortgage broker. My partner was in a similar situation and we were treated as FTBs by both the lenders we spoke to - eventually went with HSBC.0
