    I have spent £304.32 :o

But again it is Martins fault, like the knickers last week.:o

AND OH was planning on a £1K spend, but it only cost £304.32 for his new lap-top that he really does need.
Miraculously Martin pointed us in the direction of one that does all that he needed in this weeks e-mail. I started ordering it on-line via Quidco (would have been around £10 cash back) but had a query and spoke to Dell directly and got a carry bag thingy thrown in instead. :D

week 1 knickers, week 2 lap-top, I wonder what Martin will make me buy next week?

Well so far spent nothing but its my eldest daughters birthday and she wants £10 top up for her new mobile - hoping to delay it till Saturday!
  • well after having done so well over the last few weeks, I seem to be slipping:

postage - 1.58 (cards to friends abroad so acceptable methinks)
    colleague's leaving pressie - 5.00
    lunch - 12.00 (ok so i had a pint - naughty i know!)

    total: 18.58

but hoping the drinks at the leaving do i'm soon to head over to will be free!

must say whoever it was that suggested a spending diary in the "debt diary, sinking fast" thread (which was the first one i read on here) is so clever as it really does show you how easy it is to spend money without thinking. i've been so much better since i started one and to be perfectly honest, a little bit of me enjoys the daily challenge and obsession ;-0

Been on a training day today, and decided to 'do my bit' for the planet by using public transport. So, £4 busfares and £3 for lunch. (If I had used the car it would have been £3 to park for the day.)
