Oh, gosh, I have been completely misunderstood!!!

I would never enter the comp without using contactless entry, merely commenting that I can't see how they can tell. It was more a curiosity point I was making, rather than suggesting people cheat

Just in case anyone is thinking they can't enter, it is available on credit, debit and prepaid cards.

Not sure how you get a prepaid card, but I imagine they are quicker and easier to get hold of than the other two.

Don't worry about it. I won on the last one due to re-draws from either unclaimed or disqualified entry and I guess the person who lost the 1k must have felt pretty sick about it. Personally I wouldn't risk it, £500 is not to be sniffed at.

If you won in the last rounds then those cards are contactless if you have any available sepnds on them.

Just had a look at my bank statements and a contactless payment has a 'C' next to it, so they may well check this.
