The Visa Golden Space comp seems to be back for a short period...YAY - I won £100 last time!

£500 could be just around the corner thanks to Visa.

Simply pay with your Visa contactless card for purchases up to £20 from 17 September - 31 October 2014 and enter online.

(searched for Visa and Golden Space but this comp didn't come up)

Important - You can only enter this if you have a 'contactless' card and have used this method to pay - not sure if the receipt has contactless payment written on it.

    Good luck everyone

I have a contactless card and the receipts are different - if you don't use the contactless method to pay it says "Pin Entered" on the receipt

I don't have one, however my card is due for renewal soon and my bank are replacing normal cards with contactless ones, so hopefully I'll get one before the comp closing date! ;)

Quite often you don't get a receipt for contactless transactions (although you can ask for one).

The T&Cs state that a statement can be used as proof, so a receipt isn't essential:
‘Proof of Purchase’: The Promoter will only accept proof of purchase for a Contactless Payment made from the start date of the Promotional Period up to (and including) the date of entry as valid. Copies of paper receipts or a copy of the relevant section of a bank statement showing a Contactless Payment are acceptable as Proof of Purchase.

    Also note:
Each Entrant may only enter the Promotion up to a maximum of 5 times per day within the Promotional Period irrespective of Entry Type.
As long as you've made enough payments ...
a valid Contactless Payment must be made for each entry, during the Promotional Period. A Contactless Payment may only be used once in respect of entry to this Promotion, irrespective of the mechanism of entry
  • Would this not exceed the purchase amount rule thing?

It is payments *up to* £20 (the normal limit on contactless payments).
Thanks to all OPs and everyone who helps/posts etc!!:T
  • surely they wouldn't know then? we could just show a bank statement?

I am pretty sure it doesn't show up as 'Contactless' on the bank statement? Just as a normal card transaction, so yes, I agree: can't see how they can tell...

Mine shows up on my bank statement with the symbol at the side to indicate contactless. But hey if you want to risk it thats your perogative.

I guess it gives the ones entering properly the chance in the re-draws from the disqualified entries.
