So I am currently making up a list of what to get my family and friends for Christmas. I am stuck on what to get my best friend for Christmas. She seems to do holidays abroad and so I was wondering if I could get something travel related like essentials or something. I have absolutely no idea though. Help will be appreciated.

Headphones? A funny travel book? A new bag for hand luggage? Or just some smellies...
What else does she like?
P.S I just googled ''christmas presents for travellers'' and found a few good ideas.0 -
Passport cover/luggage tags? Or you could make some if your crafty?
Also I remember seeing on the general xmas gift sites last year a world map which you can scratch off the places you have visited (Like a scratch giant scratch card) maybe if she travels wide and far that would be nice?0 -
How about mosquito repellent and stuff like that if she goes to relevant places? I also had a book about fun things to do in hotel rooms that won't get you kicked out0

Wow, that giant scratch card thingy sounds awesome!!!
The book sounds good too VintageBell, sort of think I would like!!
Who does she normally travel with? Something to keep her busy on the plane/ferry/train would be good.0 -
If she does a lot of travelling she'll already have the basics - I wouldn't go for passport covers or anything like that.
What sort of holidays does she like - relaxing on the beach or more proper travelling? Just thinking that if she's a backpacker type she's going to be more limited for space.
If she's into her smellies etc you can put together a travel beauty kit. This sort of thing (amend to suit your budget.)

If it were me, I'd happily go for books for my kindle.
I got this for my friend, which went down quite well - depends on her sense of humour.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I was thinking a new toiletries and matching make up bag would be nice - assuming she has the room and maybe fill the toiletries bag with a few mini items like shampoo, conditioner, sun tan lotion, toothpaste etc0

What about a nice scrapbooking set, so she can keep a record of all her lovely holidays?0

Thank you all for your wonderful ideas. I know what to get her now. Also, she does proper travelling, exploring various places and I don't think I have ever seen her wear make up. She's more of a tomboy.0

I travel a lot with work, mostly by plane. If someone was to get me something travel related it would probably be a kindle gift card (I'm fussy with my books, and physical ones are so heavy), cute socks for on the plane as I travel mostly in sandals but need socks on most flights as its freezing, or a cute travel water bottle. I go through at least 2 bottles a year, they take a good beating, but I have a spill proof way to drink on transport, and great for turbulence.
I'd deffo stay away from tags (useless and fall off), passport holders (Have to take them off for security, customs and just about everything else, and a right faff to get on and off) or make up/toiletries (some things just don't travel well).0
