Hi everyone,
Hopefuly someone can help
I am currently on the sick from work, do not get company sick pay so I am on statutory sick pay, I earn 19k a year so obviously pay tax, will my SSP be taxable?and if so will I be taxed at 20%? I found some information but it all seems quite conflicting.
Thanks!

What is your tax code? What will your gross pay be and is this weekly, monthly, or what? What tax have you paid so far this year?
SSP is treated in the same way as other earnings.
Assuming you are on a cumulative tax code and have paid tax so far then if your gross is more than your tax allowance you will pay tax and if your gross is less than your tax allowance you will get a tax rebate.0
