Going to sell some vinyl LPs on Ebay and noticed some have etched writing on them such as Meyls,Rays etc .Just wondering what they mean and are they more valuable. Any clues would be appreciated. Thank you.

That bit in the link referring to "A Porky Prime Cut" is nowt to do with mozza - Porky (George Peckham) is a record cutting engineer. He also cut many depeche mode vinyls and added messages to them.0

Run out groove stuff is quite common , especialy the Porky Peckam stuff
A few albums in the 80s were actually etched all over with Styx Paradise Theatre being the one I remember.1 -
And while you're at it check the matrix numbers in the runoff grooves for first pressings which are often worth more for collectable records.0

The etchings and matrix numbers in combination are the guide to the editions which are more valuable.0 -
probably a little late to the party but google 'discogs' to find out the value of your record / sell it online.0

Assuming you are talking about The Beatles Single entitled Yesterday (as opposed to another Beatles disc that you found the day before today) then I'm afraid not. Yesterday was first issued in 1976 as a single in the UK with a Black label. The moulded Silver label which carries the same catalogue number as the 70's issue (R6013) was released in the late 80's and really is only of interest to a Beatles completist. Although such creatures do exist I'm afraid they won't get excited about that one.0
