  • i heard The Book Thief merchandise was quite good - & i so wanted to win one, but didnt :(

    It was, most is going to DD fro christmas with the DVD, but I kept the USB storage thingy

  • I personally only enter merchandise comps if there's something really good in there, like a DVD or something useful like a memory stick, or if it's a massive film like Spider-Man or Lord Of The Rings that I can give away.
    I used to work in marketing and IMO, most of the promo items are tat and very much "of the moment" meaning that in a year's time, you will struggle to remember anything about the film it's promoting.
    But the other way to look at is that you got some free stuff and some of it is useful, which is always good.
