I have no idea how to adjust cooking times for certain recipes. I have a 1.98kg boneless shoulder of pork and I want to slow cook it. The recipe I wanted to follow uses a 4.5kg bone in shoulder of pork, how do I adjust please? Or how can I cook mine
Recipe = 4.5kg bone in 220c for 1.5 hours then turn down to 130c add 750ml of water and cook for 4 hours.
Thank you!
Ps I need to cook this for tonight's dinner

I would say about 40 minutes at 220c then turn down to 130c for around 2 hours, if its falling off the bone then you know its cooked. Just keep an eye on it so as you don't want it dried out.0

OK if no bone then maybe adjust by 5-10 mins less. As its a fan oven then yes drop the temps as you have stated.
Enjoy!0
