Wizz Oxi Powder - 625gr in Poundland, 99p shops - just the same, been using it for ever and I cannot understand why people pay these prices for 'brands'. The Wizz Oxi is brilliant.

Yeah, just checked this stuff out on mySupermarket and also see Tesco sell this though appears Pounland are currently cheapest.

Wizz Oxi Ultra Plus Stain Remover Powder (1Kg) £2.50 (25p/100g) at Tesco

However, on mySupermarket it's brining up Wizz Oxi Ultra Plus Stain Remover Powder 500g only at Pounland. I can't see any 625g; maybe they no longer stock this size.

Also, is this stuff any good for getting oil off clothes? I got some oil on one of my cycle tops last winter though doesn't appear to shift. I've not tried either Wizz or Vanish Oxi Action though have tried a Vanish stain remover pre-wash bar though with no luck. It may be something to do with the type of material as it's a windproof top, bought a couple from Aldi last year.

I think for oil, especially if it's just a small area, you might be better trying the Dr. Beckman specifically for oil, although if you've already tried various other things it might be 'set'. Worth a try though if it's a top you particularly like, and I know cycling things are pretty pricey.

As regards the Wizz Oxi, the one I got this time was a "get x% extra free" - it is usually 500gr I think.
  • Thanks LadyDee, only just got back to this forum, kept meaning to get back to this as well. I’ll give Dr. Beckman a go at some stage as well.

Luckily the top isn’t an excessively expensive one, I bought it from Aldi last year though is annoying whenever I get spots of oil on it. Appears to be the type of oil I’m using as well, currently using 3 in 1 on the chain which is fine though appears to go all black and grimy after applying it, apparently Finish Line Teflon Plus Dry Lube is a lot cleaner. Hey hoe, you live and learn.

Top with oil marks on is the one on the right. I also have the one on the left though appears much easy to manage when washing due to the type of material as mentioned above. Bought a couple of each of these last year.

    Thanks again.
