I've got a degree in music technology. By all means go for it, and I hope you have lots of fun but you may as well do a course in colouring in for the career prospects it will give you. I have many friends who are musicians and the only one who makes a living just as a musician was in a band who did the soundtrack for a hollywood blockbuster and so gets big royalty cheques. Sorry to rain on your parade, but only about 0.0001% of people who make music make money out of it.0 -
