Argos Complaint

Please let me apologise if this is in the wrong forum, I really couldn't decide which was best! :j

I'm sure we're all aware of Argos pricing screw-ups. I've had some fairly bad experiences. One that involved going to a store to collect some reserved goods, being told the price didn't apply in store, actually showing the manager the offer in one of the leaflets they had in the doorway, and STILL having to argue for 45 minutes with the manager to get them to honour it!!!

Anyway, I finally complained to them in April. Was told basically "these things happen" and was sent away again. Finally got the complaint passed to a manager who responded by email telling me that I WAS valued :rotfl: and they would offer me £20 of vouchers as way of an apology. Not enough to make up for all the time and money they'd cost me, but better than nothing I thought. So as per the instructions I replied with my address for the vouchers.

Then I replied again.

Then again.

And again.

I'm sure you get the picture... three months later I'm yet to get a reply to any email. I've even raised a new enquiry via the website referencing this and have not received a reply to that either.

Suggestions?

Argos have to be the worst company out there (BT do come a close 2nd though) - I have not set foot in one of there stores since I bought a dodgy cooker off them in 2000 and hadn't nothing but trouble with it. A repair man admitted that the product shouldn't be sold but I couldn't receive any help from Argos customer services. In the end I wrote a letter to their Chief Executive (Address should be on the website) and within a couple of days I received a refund and compensation. A lot of hassle though and I still make sure I bad mouth them to everyone I know.

I can't find an address on the website. If anyone can help me out then I'll be sure to send them a letter
