UKPC parking charge cancelled before POPLA.

Many thanks for the dedication of posters on this site.
My wife received a windscreen ticket for not displaying her blue badge in a disabled space at Riverside Retail Park in Warrington.
I waited for the NTK and submitted an appeal on 28th August based on the template in the newbies section and adding an extra point referring to the Equality Act 2010.
We have just received a letter from UKPC to say:-
'We have investigated your appeal based on the information submitted and whilst we feel that the Parking Charge was correctly issued and that we were following the guidelines and enforcement controls agreed with our client, we have decided in this instance, as a gesture of goodwill, that the Parking Charge will be cancelled due to an administrive error.'
'Gesture of goodwill', my a**e. Feels good though.
Thanks again, much appreciated.

Search the forum for 'UKPC goodwill' as keywords and you will see how often they use that 'admin error' excuse!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
