Cheap Watches

Options
Has anyone ordered a watch from http://www.sammydress.com/Cheap-Men-s-Watches-under-50-310-price_range-4.html - (and these are the mid-range selection) they are so cheap that if they fail within 12 months - you can write it off as being a boo-boo

I am more worried about handing over my debit card details to china though.....
Any thoughts ?

Got a WOT warning as well .

Look out for Lidl or Aldi clearance sales in your area . Bought a load of watches at Lidl for £1 each . Wear 2 , I black strap 1 brown . Took the batteries out of the rest and put them in a drawer. When 1 fails I have a few replacements. Should last my time out !

Is it worth using one of those 'pre-paid' debit cards for times such as this one?

If you only put a couple of quid on the card, they can't try to steal very much from it, can they .

Haven't looked at the site but could take 3 months to arrive maybe.
Watches are pretty cheap, you may get something you could get at home for £ 2.99, unless it's a good looking fake.
Edit-quite pretty photos aren't they but they may pack up,after 3 months..

    Well, they're Chinese http://www.whois.com/whois/sammydress.com

My guess is that some watches will be fine, others will turn your wrist green, others will have those little dials and face details just printed on the backplate, and some might gain/lose 15'/day. That said, there is a **STAGGERING** markup on top-end watches, so you might actually get a bargain

You could pay via Paypal, then the seller doesn't get to see your card details.
