Facepaint stained clothing

DD1 was painted up as a lion on Saturday for her carnival parade and she managed to get loads of it over her tshirt. Went in with the normal washing with non bio on 40 degrees and it hasn't budged. I didn't have time to do anything about it when it came out of the wash so now it's dried and probably set a bit.
Have I got any hope of getting the marks out or should I bin it now?
