Any Tips for winning on Twitter

I seem to enter loads and loads of twitter competitions, RT and Follow - but never seem to win a thing. Is there something I am doing wrong, should I enter early or very late? Or am I just wasting my time? Can anyone help me with some tips?

I always pin a new comment daily to my twitter account something personal so it does not show loads of re-tweets.

You are competing with thousands of retweeting bots. I wouldn't waste my time.

yes think I'm going to stop wasting my time with twitter
and face book and just concentrate on the board competitions, have not won anything for months since started with them ....fed up

I was thinking the same about the twitter comps ive never heard anyone winning on the dave lacki ones

I've won a few times on Twitter & FB. It's just random luck really & you have as much chance as everyone else.

I use Twitaculous & Compers Haven so enter loads though.

I've entered every single competition Dave Lackie has run since April (quite a few a week) & never won. I have seen the winners post photo's of their prizes.
