Aldermore offers going to completion

There seem to be a few now with offers, just wondering if anyone has completed painlessly?
We're still waiting to exchange but after the performance in actually getting the offer and the time I'm still nervous that something's going to go wrong.
Does anyone know if they do any other checks etc or any more likely obstacles or has it been straight forward for everyone?
Hoping to exchange in the next week or so and complete not long after.
Just want it all over with now.

exchange/completion is more down to the solicitors than the lender.
There should be no hold up on that front, if there is its very unlikely to have anything to do with aldermore.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thanks, excuse my nieveity , so really the solicitor just requests funds and aldermore just pay out, simple as. No more checks, hoops to jump through (sorry but it just seems feels like one thing after another)0

Did you go via a broker? These are all things your broker should have told you about really. timescales and what to expect when etc.
You have your offer, it then gets sent to the solicitor.
The solicitor will do various checks, mostly on the property but also you (ie bankruptcy check).
Once those checks are done you will exchange contracts and set a completion date. Your solicitor will then request the funds prior to completion. At that point the lender may do some last minute checks but I have never known aldermore to do any.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
